Yesterday, She Dawagna and I were talking about the ridiculous things we often say to our children. A prime example? I said to my Sohl son, "Don't eat things off your feet."
She and I decided a blog is in order for just such utterances. So, when you utter some completely unexpected phrase, visit me here (click it) and let me know about it. I'll post your moment, and mine too, with minimal details, and together we'll have moments of brevity and levity.
Trust me, it'll be fun. Besides, God gave us a sense of humor, so let use it.

Great idea! I know my son is only 6-months old but I talked to him constantly. I will pay more attention to what I say to him. Actually, what I do is probably more funny than what I say. I am always dancing around the room like a silly dork trying to make him laugh. It works!!!
Great idea. The things that come out of mouth.. especially with a 14 year old in the house. Oh my. I'm starting to sound like my parents. I'll have to remember what I say and let you know.
With my son,I try to make him laugh to distract him. Once I see those Russian dimples, I've melted into his little heart and he in mine. Now how can I do that with my girls?
I'm keeping my ears open; I'll email you when I hit the jackpot!
