Fort-uitous...

These two views are looking into the tent through the door. It was as large as the area rug our dining room table sits on, and all four of us were able to fit inside without touching. Oh yeah. Uncle Dan, Uncle Adam, and Aunt Michelle have GOT to get in this tent.

This last view is looking towards the "door" to the tent.

This afternoon my sweet little Sohl's helped me construct what I decided was a Morrocan-inspired fort, or according to my Sohl-mate, a tent. He insisted that since it lacked the required gun turret, it was not a true fort. Whatever we call it, my Sohl son was terribly excited that I suggested we build one this afternoon. I told him to thank SunJane the next time he saw her, as her recent blog about her daughter's fort convinced me to let loose a little more, and let the kids have some good old fashioned fun. Oh, and I wanted to prove to my Sohl-mate that our table would indeed make a rockin' fort... ahem, tent. And it did.

Pictures later... what a jip! FYI: I wanted to make sure I spelled 'jip' right because I have never actually wrote this word down before. I didn't find it in the regular dictionary but I did find it at www.urbandictionary.com.
Pretty interesting.

Ahhh, the days of making forts in the living room. Crissy and I used to make some really cool ones based on Star Wars 6 with those furry animals. What were thier names?
